Team Member – Sales Assistant – IGA Ashburton

Key Responsibilities include:

Key Responsibilities include:
  • Assisting in the preparation and production of products to company standards
  • Filling and maintaining the presentation of stock
  • Excelling in providing the best service to our customers
  • Working cooperatively and respectfully in a team environment
  • Ensuring a safe environment for all people involved in our organisation by adhering to Occupational Health and Safety standards

  • Work in a fast-paced environment and across most aspects of the business including but not limited to customer service and sales, store merchandising and maintenance, environmental activism, store operations, and training
  • Perform repetitive lifting (sometimes heavy) and use of ladders is required
  • Be adaptable to accommodate our fast-paced, multi-faceted environment
Commitments:
  • All employees’ availability must reflect the needs of the business, which may change from time to time. The Store Manager determines the availability needs and this schedule includes shift times covering mornings, evenings, and weekends
  • IGA Ashburton reserves the right to make amendments to the schedule and/or availability requirements at its sole discretion
  • All employees are expected to be available to work through the Christmas and New Year holidays and from the second week of December until the end of the holiday season
  • Applicants are a minimum of 18 years of age
